8. Eddie Swims With The Lobsters - Venom

Venom may not have been a good movie, but you have to give Tom Hardy credit for hurling himself into the role with as much gusto as any world-class actor possibly could.

This is evident no better than in the delightfully insane scene at the lobster restaurant, where after bonding with the symbiote, Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) interrupts Anne (Anne Weying) and her boyfriend Dan's (Reid Scott) dinner.

After a few moments of sweating profusely and talking gibberish to a concerned Anne, Eddie grabs a steak off a nearby waiter's plate, takes a bite and spits it out, shouting, "This is dead. DEAD!"

He then tops it off by jumping into the lobster tank to cool down and taking a bite out of a live lobster swimming around in the tank. It's just about the right amount of insane for a movie that was often the wrong kind of goofy.

And better still, the whole lobster tank bit was reportedly Hardy's last-minute idea, forcing the production team to work overnight in order to rig the tank up for him.
