10 Best Superhero Movies According To Rotten Tomatoes

7. Spider-Man: Far From Home

Black Panther Fresh
Marvel Studios

Spider-Man: Far From Home scores 109.714% according to Rotten Tomatoes' algorithm, and it's not even remotely surprising that critics responded so positively to the web-slinger's second solo outing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The Critics Consensus describes the sequel as, "A breezily unpredictable blend of teen romance and superhero action, Spider-Man: Far from Home stylishly sets the stage for the next era of the MCU."

It certainly did a good job of tying up those loose ends from Avengers: Endgame, and as predictable as Mysterio's villainous turn may have been, Jake Gyllenhaal was unquestionably on top form here. Throw in plenty of spectacular visuals (that illusion sequence is arguably the most inventive, incredible thing Marvel Studios has ever done), and this really was a damn good movie.

Spider-Man: Far From Home also arguably boasts the MCU's best mid-credits scene with Mysterio outing the hero's identity to the world and the jaw-dropping return of J.K. Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson. Whether it's the best live-action Spider-Man movie is up for debate, but it's a contender.
