10 Best Superhero Movies According To Rotten Tomatoes

The hope among many fans was that Logan would receive a "Best Picture" nomination at the Oscars in 2018, and while it did receive some awards love, Hugh Jackman's final appearance as Wolverine didn't quite manage to hit those lofty heights.

Critics loved it, though, and that was evident from a Consensus that states, "Hugh Jackman makes the most of his final outing as Wolverine with a gritty, nuanced performance in a violent but surprisingly thoughtful superhero action film that defies genre conventions."

The plot often left a lot to be desired - it certainly wasn't overly faithful to the "Old Man Logan" comic book - and the performances are definitely what helped this one stand out from the crown. James Mangold shot it beautifully too, though, and certainly managed to set out to achieve what he wanted (it's just a shame he'll never get chance to tell X-23's story now).

Nitpicks aside, this R-Rated adventure - which scores 111.013% - was a highlight for the X-Men Universe, and a movie which isn't likely to be forgotten in the years to come.
