10 Big Changes The MCU Could Introduce In Phase 4
1. Movie-TV Crossovers
Nobody outside of Marvel Studios knows which stories will be told after the Infinity Saga, but one thing's for sure: they would be even more epic with the likes of Daredevil, Jessica Jones and the Punisher involved.
One problem the MCU faces is that some of its best characters are tied up on Netflix at the minute. Any of the above would be an asset to the film franchise, their grittiness offset against Captain America and Spider-Man's wholesome ways.
Right now, these characters exist in what might as well be another world. Different people are in charge of them and the closest they've come to colliding with the MCU is the occasional Daredevil in-joke or a fan-pleasing reference in Luke Cage.
Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige has downplayed the chance of a movie-TV crossover without ruling the idea out indefinitely. No doubt some form of planetary realignment would need to take place for it to happen, but since Phase 4 will be all about change, could there be some movement on this front in a year or two?
Whether Marvel is lining up the Kree-Skrull War, Secret Invasion or some other story entirely as its next big crossover, the MCU's future would be more exciting if the walls between its film and TV properties came down.
