6. The Avengers Become The Ultimates
If Marvel disassembles the Avengers after Phase 3, a successor organisation is a must, given that the Earth will be wide open to cosmic threats without them.
One band of heroes that could fill the void is the 2015 incarnation of the Ultimates, a team that came together in the wake of the Secret Wars event. Its members are Captain Marvel, Black Panther, Blue Marvel, Ms. America and Spectrum.
Black Panther has, of course, already been introduced to the MCU and has future franchise leader written all over him. Captain Marvel is on her way to the series, and her solo film could bring Spectrum with it, this being the part She's Gotta Have It star Dewanda Wise is strongly rumoured to be playing.
More than half of the Ultimates could be in place in the MCU just over a year from now, which leaves only Ms. America and Blue Marvel to recruit. Needless to say, there will be plenty of opportunities for them to join the series, but there's no reason why existing characters can't deputise for them as an alternative option.
