1. Sean Bean, The Hitcher
Is there truly a better way in which to begin? Death's most frequent visitor opens up our list in a somewhat contradictory manner; that being that his inclusion will come as no surprise to any who have followed his career. Yes, Sean Bean dies - a lot. In fact, Sean Bean dies so often that you can't help but wonder if he only accepts parts that result in his ultimate demise; that or he has incredible commitment issues. In the 2007 remake of the 1986 original, Bean plays John Ryder, an estranged, murderous psychopath who torments an innocent couple who are on the road during spring break vacation. After almost an hour and a half of action, it seemed as though the unlikely occurrence of a Bean survival might actually be on the cards. That is of course until Sophia Bush dashed that hope by planting a bullet through Bean's forehead in the film's final scene; someday Sean, someday. The film itself was a critical and financial failure and did not live up to the success of the original. The general consensus was that it was unnecessary; the original had already achieved cult status and needed little improvement, if indeed it needed any at all.
