10 Big MCU Revelations That Didn’t Come From The Movies

9. Valkyrie Is Alive

Infinity War left the fates of a massive number of characters up in the air, from the Nova Corps to the many, many MCU side characters who may or may not have been snapped away into dust.

Another couple of characters we didn't see in the movie are Valkyrie and Korg, two recent additions to the MCU who we first met in Thor: Ragnarok. The last time we saw them, they were safely aboard the Asgardian refugee ship, but Infinity War opened with that ship being decimated.

This left us with two questions: one, did Valkyrie and Korg escape the ship, and two, did they survive the snap?

While Korg's fate is still unknown - during the film's commentary, writer Christopher Markus tells us all to "pray for Korg", which doesn't sound good, but is hardly a straight answer - we do know what happened to Valkyrie. During that same commentary, Joe Russo reiterated that she managed to escape the Asgardian ship, something he'd confirmed in a Q&A a few months prior.

But what about the snap? Fortunately, Valkyrie survived that too, as stated by actress Tessa Thompson on Twitter.

There are rumours that Valkyrie will show up in Endgame, which could mean she plays a role in the surviving Avengers' plan somehow - we'll just have to wait and see. Until then... #PrayForKorg.
