10 Biggest Behind-The-Scenes Fights From The Making Of Famous Movies

10. The Entire Cast Of Fury

This one doesn't exactly fit into the typical mold of a behind-the-scenes fight, because it was actually encouraged by the director, but the story is simply too good not to share. When preparing to shoot the war drama Fury, director David Ayer decided that it would be a good idea to get his star cast to bond. But rather than have everyone meet at his house for a few beers and some karaoke, he opted for a more "intimate" experience. The principal cast - which included Brad Pitt, Shia LeBouf, Michael Pena, Jon Bernthal, and Logan Lerman - all went through an intense Navy SEALs training before shooting began. But to keep that brotherhood tight during the shoot, all five of them got into fistfights during rehearsals for scenes. In fact, it wasn't only encouraged, it was actually mandated. Now, it should be mentioned that there are no real fight scenes between these guys during the movie (aside from a brief shoving match), so it's not as if they were rehearsing for something that was going to end up on the screen at the end of the day. According to Ayer, it was "a great ice breaker for actors. There€™s something very honest about being punched in the face.€ But it's a little risky putting the literal faces of your movie in situations that involve them taking repeated hits to the moneymaker. Especially when one of them (Bernthal) is a professional boxer who, according to Lerman, "would go at it to the point where he€™d have blood running down his face."
