2. The X-Men

If you didn't immediately get excited at the prospect of the X-Men coming face to face with the Avengers when the news of a possible buy out emerged, you just aren't doing life correctly.

Even though neither party really needs it currently, the prospect of an X-Men Versus Avengers movie event (over several films, if need be) would be a solid gold way of making multiple billions for Disney and Marvel. Sure, there'd be cynics, and Marvel would get accused of cynically money grabbing, but there are enough events in the comics that rely on crossovers between the teams to justify it on the big screen, and you don't get many fan-pleasing opportunities quite that big.

If Marvel could wait to do a House Of M event, that would be the best framework too, if they can iron out the logistics.
