10 Biggest Comic Book Characters Disney Could Buy From Fox

3. The Brotherhood Of Mutants

One of the best things offered by the suggestion of Fox and Marvel coming together and Marvel Studios getting the rights back to their own mutants is that they'd immediately get a huge rogues' gallery of mutant villains. Obviously, at the top of that tree sits Magneto and the Brotherhood, who actually deserve their own movie in the same way Suicide Squad should have been.

As the existing X-Men franchise has already proven, civil rights allegory is a major part of telling the mutant story, and having that told through the use of the Brotherhood as a sort of militant protest group first (effectively charting a different rise to power of Magneto than we've seen) is a very compelling thought.

And of course, every one of the characters could be used as villains for individual MCU properties, if Marvel wanted a more traditional approach - though there'd likely be some confusion over the whole Scarlet Witch/Quicksilver things, of course. Maybe we can just see the MCU's Wanda retconned as "special" because of her mutation, that came to her thanks to her father.
