10 Biggest Downgrades In MCU History

8. Odin

Professor Hulk
Marvel Comics

Brought to enthralling life by the legendary Anthony Hopkins throughout the first three Thor solo flicks, The God of Thunder's all-powerful paps Odin was understandably regarded as one of the most powerful entities in the MCU during his time among the living.

However, outside of the odd flashback and brief flexing of his magical muscles, Marvel movie fans weren't really gifted the true extent of his godly abilities. Sure, he was able to imprison his own daughter, the fearsome Hela, and conquered the entire Nine Realms en-route to settling down in his later years on Asgard. But the Odin fans grew to fear and respect weekly on the page made those feats look positively mediocre.

Harnessing the next-level Odin-Force, a mystical energy known for being able to charge weapons such as The Destroyer and a spear by the name of Gungnir, this power results in Odin becoming pretty damn near invincible as its strength and energy are said to be limitless and near-infinite.

Colliding with the likes of Galactus, shattering galaxies against Seth, and even manipulating reality via the aforementioned Odin-Force, you wouldn't be in any rush to get on the wrong side of either the MCU or comic book Odin... but your writer would choose the former if nudged by the gods.
