10 Biggest Fan Service Moments In Marvel Movies
8. The Return Of Jameson - Spider-Man: Far From Home
There's still an entire generation who will probably never get over JK Simmons playing the role J Jonah Jameson in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man movies. I mean, the only reason why Jameson hasn't been a prominent feature in any of the other Spider-Man films going forward most likely comes down to nailing it perfectly the first go round.
So when we finally got to the end of Spider-Man: Far From Home, why not give the audience a little something and break the Internet in the process?
While most MCU fans have gotten used to the mid credits scenes teasing the next few films, the idea of bringing back JK Simmons to play the return of Jameson was amazing. For any hardened superhero fans, it was a welcome return to form hearing that familiar bark all over again, and yet it also sets up some speculation of what might be on the horizon for Tom Holland's next go around as the wall-crawler.
Considering the amount of people wanting Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire to join the MCU Spiderverse in some capacity, this one cameo from Jameson might be the best way of merging these three distinct versions of New York together in one place. It might have been a nice cameo for laughs, but it might just also be the Easter Egg that keeps on giving.
