6. Lifting Mjolnir - Avengers: Endgame
Even though Thor is the only one worthy to wield his mighty hammer Mjolnir, Steve Rogers really deserves to be considered in such hallowed company.
After all, since Cap is one of the most good natured people on the face of the Earth, how the hell can he only budge Thor's mighty hammer just an inch when going back and forth with the rest of the team? Well, it appears that the Star Spangled Man With a Plan had to put a few more miles on his soul before being worthy.
During the events of Endgame, it starts to look pretty grim halfway through the battle as Tony gets incapacitated and Thanos attempts to impale Thor with Stormbreaker. As Mjolnir slowly starts to rise off of the ground though, it demolishes Thanos before being summoned all the way back to Cap's hand, as he summons thunder to go toe to toe with the Mad Titan on his own.
It would seem that this is the moment where Steve came full circle, after fessing up to lying to Tony in Civil War and finally gaining the strength as one of the most righteous men on the planet. It's even more gratifying for the fans when we heard Thor mumble "I knew it" to himself once Cap wields the hammer himself. Yes, Thor, we all knew it.
