3. "Hulk... Smash" - The Avengers
When looking at the rest of the Avengers, Hulk has never been the most verbose of any of the other players on the team.
While Bruce Banner is always well spoken when discussing the mechanics behind science in every film, that kind of vocabulary tends to take a back seat when he decides to bring his big green alter ego out to play. So it's nice that we at least got Hulk's iconic line shoehorned into the Avengers, even if it didn't come from him specifically.
Compared to the rest of the MCU, Hulk's role in the first Avengers is a lot more carefully placed, as he only transforms twice in the entire movie to wreak havoc on the SHIELD Helicarrier and the final battle respectively.
After learning to gain a greater control of his anger, Hulk's first appearance gives way to one of the greatest group shots in the MCU, after which Steve details their plan of attack against Loki and the Chitauri.
Going through each method in order, it's almost played off for laughs when Cap ends things off with saying "Hulk... Smash" as the Big Guy starts to go to town on the aliens soaring through the sky.
Even though we did get the "puny god" line just a few minutes later from Hulk himself, this was a good way of working around the cheesier aspects of Hulk's signature phrase.
