Box Office Gross: $714,083,572 Most people who sat down to Captain America: The Winter Soldier came out of the theatre thinking: "Yes, that was absolutely fantastic." Indeed, The Winter Soldier did everything that a great comic book movie should: at once, it felt urgent and contemporary, whilst - at the same time - it was also self-aware and refused to take itself too seriously.
