10 Biggest Implications Of Marvel's Massive Phase 4 Delay

8. The Disney+ TV Shows Remain Unmoved...For Now

With Mulan now set to be released in July, and the likes of The Jungle Cruise and Indiana Jones 5 both delayed by a year, Disney's theatrical slate is currently unrecognisable. Even Kenneth Branagh's Artemis Fowl is now skipping cinemas for Disney+, but that arguably isn't the biggest surprise considering how desperate that streaming service is for new content.

Perhaps that's why Disney has decided against mentioning whether the Marvel Studios TV shows coming to Disney+ have been similarly affected by these delays. The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is set to debut in August, WandaVision was recently brought forward to December, and Loki was pencilled in for a vague Spring 2021 arrival.

Well, production on all three has been halted, so unless work on the first few episodes of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is 100% done and Marvel Studios can finish work on the rest while those are streaming, these shows are bound to be hit eventually too. So, while they remain unmoved on Disney+ for now, that's likely to change...and result in a lot of comic book fans potentially unsubscribing!
