10 Biggest Lies All Movie Goers Tell Themselves

8. You Don't Enjoy The Trailers

Sucker Punch I used to tell myself this all of the time, but how times have changed. The trailers are quickly becoming one of the best parts of going to the cinema; not only because they allow you to get excited about future releases but also nowadays they are often better than the actual movies themselves (I'm looking at you Sucker Punch). A well-produced trailer can tell us as much or as little as they want about an upcoming release and this power can sometimes make or break the success of a movie, even before it is released. I understand a poster is the initial step in getting audience interest, but once those few short minutes of actual footage have been shown then the whole world can be hooked. This is why you need to be there in plenty of time so you can make the decision on what food you want to purchase, if you can afford it, and have your seat ready for the visceral pleasure of the trailers.
