4. They're Using Harley's Worst Origin Story

It became evident with the new trailer that Harley Quinn's origin story will be drawn mostly from the New 52 series, where Harley's creation was rebooted, having occurred after The Joker threw her into a vat of chemicals, altering her appearance and turning her into The Joker's Stockholm Syndrome-infused partner. Though there's a chance the movie might be able to spin this into a supremely tragic depiction of the character, it's for many a massively inferior version of her original conception (where she falls madly in love with The Joker all on her own), as it merely makes her a puppet and denies her the agency that she had prior. Again, the feminists will likely be all over this (in addition to comic book nerds who simply don't like the New 52 changes), so best brace for impact.
