7. Hannibal Chau - Pacific Rim
One of those movie pricks we absolutely love to hate, Hannibal Chau (Ron Perlman) is a noted trafficker of Kaiju body parts, sought out by Newton Geiszler (Charlie Day) so that they can receive an intact Kaiju brain, which they can use to establish a mental link with the beasts and figure out their plan. After reluctantly agreeing to help, Chau and his team move in to begin harvesting parts from two downed Kaiju, while Geiszler realises that one is pregnant, and its spawn promptly chomps on Chau. Chau was a thorough prick character, decked out in a ridiculous suit, with sparkly shoes and an idiosyncratic demeanour. He's the sort of douche character who is basically destined to die, but just then, in a post-credits scene, we see him cut his way out of the baby Kaiju's stomach, ensuring that the prick will return, should Pacific Rim 2 ever actually get made.
