5. Daniel Lugo - Pain & Gain
Michael Bay's surprisingly satirical Pain and Gain absolutely knows that its protagonist, Daniel Lugo, is a huge prick, and has plenty of fun making that clear to us. Lugo is a gym trainer who yearns for the success of one of his wealthy clients, and so kidnaps him with the idea being that he'll extort him of much of his assets. Of course, nothing goes according to plan, and Lugo and his pals end up holding the man in question hostage for an inordinate amount of time, throwing in a healthy dose of torture and attempted murder for good measure. What makes Lugo such a prick is how spectacularly he has misinterpreted the American dream, believing that his violent behaviour makes him a "doer" so that he can become one of life's "winners", when in the end, he ends up on Death Row, certainly making him one of life's losers, and an absolute prick of all pricks.
