This is the week of the 3-actor casting updates, isn't it? First Jurassic World, followed by Batman Vs. Superman, and now Terminator Genesis. Alan Taylor's upcoming reboot/sequel/relaunch/re-something of the Terminator franchise has already cast all of the main roles, including Emilia Clarke as Sarah Connor, Jason Clarke as John Connor, Jai Courtney as Kyle Reese, and of course Arnold Schwarzenegger as the titular killing machine. Now it's time for the studio to begin rounding out the cast with some supporting players. This week it was announced that Byung-hun Lee (the G.I. Joe films), Michael Gladis (Mad Men), and Sandrine Holt (House of Cards) have signed on for supporting roles, which are, frustratingly, a mystery. Gladis and Holt could be anybody, but Lee presents the most interesting opportunity. Considering the actor's martial arts skills, could he be some freedom fighter battling against Skynet or, more excitingly, a new Terminator? I guess we'll have to wait and see.
