2. Toby Kebbell Cast As Doctor Doom In Fantastic Four Reboot

Toby Kebbel In Jimmy Mcgo 007 Despite years of production woes, Fox's Fantastic Four reboot is moving full steam ahead, and even has a sequel greenlit for 2017. A few weeks ago we heard that Miles Teller, Michael B. Jordan, Kate Mara, and Jamie Bell had been cast as Reed Richards, Johnny Storm, Sue Storm, and Ben Grimm, respectively. Then we heard rumors that their nemesis, Doctor Doom, might be played by a woman. A shortlist of actors up for the villainous role debunked those rumors, and now we have official confirmation that Toby Kebbell (War Horse, Wrath of the Titans) has landed the gig. Kebbell was on that list, and has beat out Sam Riley, Eddie Redmayne, and Domnhall Gleeson. Kebbell definitely fits the bill for younger actors taking on these iconic roles, so it will be interested to see what kind of direction this film ends up taking. Now that all of the main roles have been cast, production is expected to begin this Spring as the movie heads towards its June 19, 2015 release date.
