1. Chiwetel Ejiofor Up For Bond 24 Villain Role
Sam Mendes is currently hard at work on making the hotly anticipated follow-up to his incredibly successful Bond film, Skyfall. Right now we have no idea what the movie will be about, but have an exciting piece of news to report. The Wrap has word that Academy Award winner Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 Years A Slave) is the frontrunner to play the villain in Bond 24. How great is that? Ejiofor is a fantastic actor, and already played a very Bond-villain-esque character in Serenity, so I'd love to see him face off against James Bond. This of course means that he won't have time for Star Wars Episode VII, another movie he's rumored for, but honestly I'm okay with the trade. Nothing's official, of course, so take this news with the requisite grain of salt. And that'll do it for this week's WhatCulture news brief! What did you think of our stories? Are you excited for the new cast additions to Batman Vs Superman, Jurassic World, and Terminator Genesis? What do you think of Chiwetel Ejiofor and Toby Kebbell's villainous roles?
