7. Ant-Man Will Undergo More Rewrites

MarvelMarvelWhat's that? You thought all of the Ant-Man drama had died down now that Peyton Reed has replaced Edgar Wright as director? Think again! When Reed signed on, he brought Anchorman director Adam McKay (who had been approached to direct first, but refused due to scheduling conflicts) with him. McKay jumped on board to tighten up the script a bit, and implement the studio-mandated changes that forced Wright out of the film in the first place. Apparently, the script will undergo yet another rewrite, as Latino Review reports that newcomers Gabriel Ferrari and Andrew Barrer have been hired as "production writers." That means they'll be on set each day with script and red pen in hand, making changes as necessary. How that bodes for the final film has yet to be seen, but it sure has re-sparked the film's controversy. Despite all of the creative reshuffling, Marvel is still dedicated to release Ant-Man on July 17, 2015.
