9. Frank Darabont Directing Snow White And The Huntsman Sequel

UniversalUniversalThose of you who groaned at the idea of a sequel to 2012's Snow White And The Huntsman should rest assured, because apparently the sequel will NOT bring back Kristen Stewart, focusing solely on Chris Hemsworth's Huntsman instead. Oh, and it will be directed by The Walking Dead executive producer Frank Darabont. So, do I have your undivided attention? Universal fired director Rupert Sanders when he and Kristen Stewart were caught in a sex scandal after the first film's release, but assured us that Stewart was still on board. However, it looks like she isn't expected to return for anything more than a short appearance. Apparently Darabont pitched the studio a Huntsman-centric idea they really liked, which helped him snatch the directing job from contenders like Gavin O'Connor and Andy Muschietti. Hemsworth's schedule is clear after he finishes Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Universal is aiming to release the film sometime in 2016, so production will likely begin soon.
