10 Biggest Movie And TV News This Week (June 28)

5. Channing Tatum, Tilda Swinton, And Ralph Fiennes Join Hail, Caesar!

Sony PicturesSony PicturesThe Coen Brothers are hard at work on their next film, the George Clooney starring Hail, Caesar!, which will mark the third and final film in their loosely connected "Idiot Trilogy," which already consists of O Brother Where Art Thou? and Intolerable Cruelty. This week, the Coens signed three more exciting actors for the film: Channing Tatum, Tilda Swinton, and Ralph Fiennes. Clooney plays Eddie Mannix, "a fixer who works for the Hollywood studios in the 1950s." Tatum will play "a Gene Kelly-type star," Fiennes will be "Laurence Lorenz, a studio director," and Swinton will play a powerful Hollywood gossip columnist. With Josh Brolin also on board, this film is already becoming another example of how brilliantly the brothers cast their films, and we can't wait to hear more news as the film gears up for production.
