4. Are 2 More Indiana Jones Movies On The Way?

We've been hearing conflicting reports about the future of the Indiana Jones franchise for some time now. Steven Spielberg and Harrison Ford have commented several times that it may happen, but so far there's been no noticeable movement on the film. However, now that Disney owns Lucasfilm and therefore the rights to the franchise, many have speculated that the house of mouse may be interested in bringing Indy back for more adventures. Producer Frank Marshall dropped hints that something was in the works in December, and we've heard rumors that Ford would only sign on for Star Wars Episode VII if his contract included more Indiana Jones films. According to Canadian movie blog MarketSaw, a "top Star Wars source" tells them that that's precisely the case.
"Regarding Harrison Ford, two more Indiana Jones features are in the negotiation stages as per Ford's contract clause on Star Wars, which is the primary reason he didn't 'publicly' or 'privately' commit, or so I'm told."
Without a doubt, we'll see another Indiana Jones movie. Eventually. It's just too lucrative and too iconic of a franchise for Disney to let it go, and now it's just a matter of when, not if, it'll happen. Will they keep Harrison Ford in the lead role, or reboot the franchise somewhere down the line? Should they even keep making these movies? Only time will tell.
