4. Hugh Jackman Is Now "Less Sure" About Leaving The X-Men Franchise
Hugh Jackman is the backbone and heart of the X-Men franchise. Despite the series' various ups and downs, incredible highs (Days of Future Past) and lowest of lows (Origins: Wolverine), Jackman has remained a tried and true franchise star, giving his all and bringing his dedication to the part of Wolverine again and again over the last 14 years. Jackman is signed up for two more X-Men films, 2016's Apocalypse and 2017's third Wolverine solo film. The actor has expressed his interest in leaving the claws and mutton chops behind after Wolverine 3, but is experiencing doubts now that he's seen Days of Future Past.
At one point, youre right, I said I was pretty sure . But Im less sure as it goes along. Because after seeing this movie, the whole thing feels fresher to me than ever. And during this movieI dont want to spoil anything, but its kind of like a clean slate, so who knows where its going to go. As long as I have the passion for it and the fans will have me.
With seven films under his belt and counting, it's clear that the fans will definitely "have" him, and would gladly see him don the claws for as long as he's able. Plus, now that DOFP has acted as a gigantic reset button for the franchise, the possibilities moving forward are endless.
