3. Batman Vs Superman: Dawn Of Justice Official Title And Logo
Ever since Zack Snyder announced at Comic Con last year that he'd be making a Man of Steel sequel co-starring Batman, we've all just been referring to it as "Zack Snyder's untitled Man of Steel sequel," or Batman vs. Superman for short. Now, we
finally know what to call it, though not all fans are happy about it. The film's official title is now Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. Yeah, it's a bit goofy. However, such a subtitle was pretty much expected, and just helps cement the fact that Warner Bros. is no longer being short-sighted when it comes to their DC films, and are looking ahead at Justice League. A similar title scheme was given to Captain America: The First Avenger over at Marvel Studios, so we've seen this kind of franchise-teasing-subtitle before. Plus, it's a
hell of a lot less goofy than some of the other tentpole film subtitles we've endured, like Dark of the Moon or Rise of the Silver Surfer. In any case, let's just be happy that we're
finally getting a movie with Batman and Superman in it! Who cares about what some studio executive decides to call it? They could name it Batman V Superman: Friendship is Magic for all we care, you know we'll all be lining up for tickets at midnight on May 6, 2016.
