We've already seen such iconic Batman villains as the Penguin, Catwoman, Poison Ivy, the Riddler, and Carmine Falcone show up on Fox's new prequel series Gotham. Now, we have word that one of the Bat's most famous and beloved villains is headed for the small screen. According to TVLine, Masters of Sex and Heroes alum Nicholas D'Agosto has signed on to play a young Harvey Dent, the future criminal mastermind known as Two-Face. He'll debut on the series as an "idealistic Assistant District Attorney handsome, warm and engaging, constantly maintaining a sunny disposition even when dealing with the city's seediest riffraff." D'Agosto will appear as a recurring guest star this season, with the option to return as a series regular should Gotham get picked up for a second year. As with all of the villains on the show, the writers will have to tread carefully with Harvey's story, as his fall from grace and into the clutches of the criminal underworld are one of the most important aspects of Bruce Wayne's career as Batman. Still, knowing Gotham's style, he'll be on screen for five minutes before someone either calls him "two-faced" or suggests he flip a coin to solve some decision.
