10 Biggest Reveals From Disney's D23 Expo 2015

6. The Jungle Book Looks Absolutely Amazing

Jon Favreau's The Jungle Book is one of those weird projects that seems to have been chugging away for ages, without revealing a great deal. That changed at D23 though, with the unfurling of a poster and some footage. Despite being work in progress standard, the footage drew a standing ovation. What was placed on show included a chance to see Scarlett Johansson's python Kaa in action (it also looks like she'll have some narration duties, opening proceedings with an eerie monologue), some threatening patter courtesy of Idris Elba's Shere Khan (followed by the tiger pursuing our hero Mowgli off a cliff) and most importantly a quick peek at Bill Murray's Baloo, complete with a Bear Necessities reference. Christopher Walken's King Louie closed out the reel, but I'm predicting Murray ends up the MVP. There was also a gorgeous new one-sheet to soak up, cementing The Jungle Book as a major player when it opens 15th April 2016.
