10 Biggest WTF Moments In Recent Horror Movies

4. The Sudden End - A Quiet Place Part 2

While most of the entries on this list have been welcome WTF moments, this one is a little bit different. A Quiet Place Part 2 is a good movie; a worthy, more action-focused follow up to the original, but it's lean to a fault.

The story is pretty simple: one group of heroes investigates a radio broadcast that could belong to a sanctuary untouched by the alien menace, and another stays at home base to look after the new baby.

The former group - made up of Cillian Murphy's newcomer Emmett and Millicent Simmonds' Regan - make it to the source of the radio signal and do indeed discover a community of humans living in relative peace. The only person we really get to know there though is Djimon Hounsou's unnamed character.

This idea of a safe haven opens up a new set of possibilities for the franchise, but sadly they're swept under the rug as quickly as they're brought up. Immediately after it's introduced, an alien decimates the whole village, and without even getting a name, Hounsou's character is equally unceremoniously killed off.

Shortly after that the entire film comes to an abrupt end too, with our heroes still separated.

So, WTF? It's like the filmmakers ran out of time and just wrapped everything up as soon as they could to get to the pub. Djimon Hounsou deserved better.
