The fifth - or second - Star Wars installment turns 20 years old this year, which is nothing really when you consider that the original movie celebrates its 45th birthday next year!

I won't insult your intelligence by explaining Star Wars to you because, in the words of Marshall Eriksen - "the only people in the universe who haven't seen Star Wars are the characters in Star Wars. And that's cause they lived them!"

However, for those unfamiliar, the original Star Wars trilogy became Episode IV - VI when George Lucas returned for a prequel trilogy starting with The Phantom Menace in 1999 before Episode II was released in 2002. Attack of the Clones was set ten years after its prequel.

Much like its predecessor, the reviews were mixed with the biggest argument at the time being which of the movies was the worst instalment of the franchise. However, it was praised for its visual effects and musical score - and it could have been much worse as the working title was jokingly named Jar Jar's Great Adventure.

Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones starred Ewan McGregor and Natalie Portman, and was a monster success at box office. While the movie made over $645 million, that success was short-lived when the movie became the first Star Wars to be out-grossed in its year of release.

So, how has it aged? Well, on the surface, the visuals and audio still hold up, but the lack of depth means this ranks very low on any Star Wars list.
