10 Blockbusters Due In 2015 You Probably Haven't Heard Of

8. Assassin's Creed (August 2015)

Assassins Creed FassbenderDirector: TBC Cast: Michael Fassbender Plot: There have been scant details released concerning the plot and the signs are not good €“ no confirmed director (although Safe House director Daniel Espinosa is rumoured to be in the running), a pushed back release date and first time writer Michael Leslie's script has been re-written by Scott Frank (Minority Report & The Wolverine scribe). What we do know though is Michael Fassbender will be playing bartender Desmond Miles, who is kidnapped by a large corporation and forced into the 'Animus' machine to relive the memories of his ancestors who are all, you've guessed it, plumbers. Just kidding (this isn't Super Mario Bros.) they're all assassins of course. What To Expect: Leon meets The Kingdom Of Heaven As well as starring in it, Michael Fassbender is also producing the film so there is hope it will be crafted with care and that it could be one of the very few gaming adaptations that won't totally suck. We can expect roof-top acrobatics, plenty of action and seeing Ubisoft's iconic gaming protagonist Altair ibn-La'Ahad sharpen his blades in this 3D film starring Ireland's best export since Guinness.
