Plot: Plot details are scarce at the moment but what we do know is after a case of high level computer hacking arises, US and Chinese military forces are forced to work together to stop it. Chris Hemsworth has described it as a 'sort of cat and mouse international heist thriller' which sounds pretty good to us as Michael Mann returns to the crime genre with his first film since 2009's Public Enemies.
What To Expect: Bond on Heat With an international feel (shooting took place in destinations as far afield as Los Angeles, Hong Kong and Jakarta) and a story centred around government espionage there is more than a little 007 vibe about Cyber but the biggest attraction has to be Michael Mann. If he can capture even a little of the kinetic energy he wrought out of the action scenes in Heat and Collateral then this film could be a big hit.
