10 Blooper Reels That Are Better Than The Actual Movie

3. Liar Liar

Jim Carrey is a legend in the world of comedy, with his early work of Ace Ventura, The Cable Guy, The Mask, and Dumb and Dumber among others launching him into the realms of Hollywood stardom. Though he has since played more serious roles, comedy will always be his bread and butter.

This was obvious nowhere more than in the bloopers of Liar Liar. It is a wonderful Jim Carrey film and performance in its own right, but showing the actor doing his level best to make everyone around him laugh on set is even better.

Whether he is forgetting his own lines, or just deciding to throw the scene out the window for the sake of a giggle, every single outtake is pure gold. The greatest however, didn't even come from the man you'd expect it to.

This particular scene in the movie has Carrey’s character argue with his legal counterpart Dana, with the line in the movie having her scream that he's a bastard. In one blooper however, she instead calls him an overactor. It’s hilarious, and Carrey’s reaction clearly agreeing with the joke makes it that much funnier.
