Despite appearing in a string of perfectly fine horror pictures, Madeline Smith is best remembered as the girl from the opening of Live And Let Die, whose dress is unzipped by Bonds magnetic watch. She couldve gone on to more horror films of a similar calibre, but by that time, the British film industry had seen better days. Part of the glamour of Hammer alongside co-stars Ingrid Pitt, Kate OMara and Linda Hayden, Smith was in Taste The Blood Of Dracula with Geoffrey Keen, who later played Minister Of Defence in every Bond film from The Spy Who Loved Me to The Living Daylights.
