The Lego Batman Movie, apart from being an all round bloody good time, is largely a 104 minute celebration of all things Dark Knight.

Countless easter eggs, including the use of various iconic lines from the Caped Crusader's past, either left youngsters fist pumping or older fans just knowingly chuckling next to their otherwise unaware kids.

One of those, let's say, more historic nods came in the form of the pre-flight check the Bat-computer performs for the Batmobile in the film. Those who grew up watching the 1960's Batman television series will recognise the lines, 'Atomic batteries to power. Turbines to speed.', as the very same words Robin would call out as he was performing similar checks on the iconic vehicle before taking off on a mission.

It may not be as instantly recognisable to younger fans as the 'you complete me' The Dark Knight callback or 'let's get nuts!' nod to Michael Keaton in Tim Burton's Batman, but this fun little bit of dialogue was one of the many well received homages to the days of Adam West's campy delight.
