10 Cameos Everyone Wants To See In 2016's Biggest Movies

7. Albus Dumbledore - Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them

You can just picture the scene, can't you? Eddie Redmayne, playing protagonist Newt Scamander in upcoming Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, is hurrying along through the streets of New York with a load of heavy books in his hands. As he turns a corner, he bumps into a middle-aged man and the books fly everywhere. "Apologies, my dear boy," says the middle-aged man, helping him pick them up. "The name's Dumbledore," he adds. "What's yours, good sir?" Okay, so maybe it won't play out exactly like that, but if you think for even a minute that J.K. Rowling is going to pass up the opportunity to include a Dumbledore cameo in Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, you're off your rocker. And it sort of makes sense: Dumbledore was alive and well at the time that Fantastic Beasts is set (that being 1920s New York). He was in his forties, and could very well have travelled to the United States on business. C'mon, don't pretend the thought of it doesn't excite you - especially if they get Michael Gambon back and de-age him with a bit of CGI. Brilliant.
