Have you noticed the cameo from The Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire? This was pure casting genius by the creators.

Who better to lead a rock band in a magical movie than Jarvis Cocker? The musician apparently wore his own clothes when featuring as the frontman for fictional band, The Weird Sisters.

In interviews, Cocker admits to taking on the role in an attempt to impress some of his nieces and nephews. He managed to nab the spot in the film after receiving word that the directors were looking for song entries for the Yule Ball scene.

Apparently, they liked it because soon after sending in the song, the musician was asked to feature in the film while singing the song.

Despite only featuring in one very short scene in the movie, the musician was on set for a couple of days along with Radiohead members Jonny Greenwood and Phil Selway. Imagine being paid to sing a song you wrote in front of a big crowd of screaming extras while jamming with members of Radiohead? What a life.
