10 Changes That Would Improve The Marvel Cinematic Universe

2. Stop Skipping Over Important Explanations

The MCU is a giant entity, and given that it's controlled by dozens of people (as opposed to one auteur who knows everything and anything), things often get forgotten or overlooked - which is to say, sometimes important explanations or plots will find themselves skipped over because it's just easier that way. Plots need to move forwards, after all; cogs need to shift into gear... who cares how Thor managed to get back to Earth after the events of the original movie? Who gives a sh*t about a proper explanation... it's The Avengers, guys! Do fans need to know, in detail, how Nick Fury managed to get his hands on the tesseract? Nah - it's not important! Do fans honestly care about such tiny, pedantic things? Yes, they do. And it's frustrating when - between movies - Marvel fail to elaborate on important narrative aspects because it's deemed inessential. Eventually this sort of apathetic attitude towards explaining plot points will end in a horrible plot hole - one that won't be easily solved and could cause a lot of damage. Nip it in the bud, guys.
