10 Characters Fans Want In The MCU (And How They Can Be Introduced)

Captain Britain, Nova and Galactus HAVE to make it into MCU Phase 4 or 5.

Disney’s Investors Day brought the excitement level back up to the max for all the fans of the MCU, announcing incredible content over the next few years in series and movies. Some fan favourites such as the Fantastic Four and the Secret Invasions storyline were the shining stars of the announcements but there are still dozens of characters not yet announced.

The MCU has decades worth of comics to play with and have already proved their worth by turning lesser known heroes, such as the Guardians of the Galaxy, into modern classics. Throughout the MCU’s existence since 2008, fans have campaigned for their favourite characters from the comics to appear on the big screen, from obvious heroes to more obscure but interesting villains.

With a lot of characters that could be introduced and a 23-film universe already established, speculation amongst fans is thrown around about how any new heroes or villains could be brought in to the movies this late in the universe.

With Marvel moving forward into the future and giving equal focus to both series and movies, the opportunity for new characters has never been higher. But some characters are more wanted than others and fans won’t be entirely happy until they get them.

10. Captain Britain

Nova Silver Surfer
Marvel Comics

Yet another Captain fans want to see brought into the MCU, Captain Britain is very different to his American counterpart. Powered with by the mystical Amulet of Right, Captain Britain is an excellent fighter, can fly and is incredibly durable.

Brian Braddock would bring the UK more into the MCU and introduce a more mystic element. With Shang-Chi and Doctor Strange: In The Multiverse of Madness bringing even more magic, then it only makes sense that he would be introduced in some form or another.

However, Braddock has already had a subtle Easter egg reference in Avengers: Endgame. When Steve Rogers is hiding in Peggy Carter's office, audiences can hear Peggy mention that a 'Braddock' is missing.

It is doubtable that this is Brian Braddock as it is more likely his father due to the time. This begs the question if Captain Britain would be a part of SHIELD when he gets introduced, but for now fans are left to wonder.
