10 Characters For Marvel Studios To Explore The Supernatural
1. Ghost Rider
Yes, we've already got Ghost Rider appearing on Agents of SHIELD. And though Gabriel Luna is doing a great job as Robbie Reyes, most fans know that there's more than one Ghost Rider in the Marvel Universe.
Oh, and after recent episodes of Agents of SHIELD, it looks like there's also more than one Ghost Rider in the MCU.
This leaves open the possibility for a Ghost Rider series focusing on John Blaze. Much like the flashbacks on Arrow, you could have it half focused on Blaze's past when he first became the Ghost Rider and half focused on the present. Maybe the curse of the Ghost Rider is threatening to return or maybe like the Midnight Sons comics of the 90s, he's able to use the hellfire lingering inside his body in other ways.
And though the Ghost Rider is getting some redemption on Agents of SHIELD, John Blaze also deserves a second chance after suffering through two turns of being played by Nicolas Cage.
If it does turn out that there are multiple Ghost Riders, that means a Ghost Rider series wouldn't need to focus solely on Blaze. It could also feature Robbie, Dan Ketch, Michael Badalino. Or even Caleb, the Ghost Rider of the Old West.
