10 Characters Marvel Studios Can't Currently Use (And Why It Sucks)

1. J. Jonah Jameson

One of the few things that has disappointed so far in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is the media's in-universe coverage of the battles and events that have occurred thanks to the presence of all the super-powered characters. The Avengers movie had a brief montage at the end where reports were shown about the battle of New York (and Stan Lee made his usual cameo as a man being interviewed by a news channel), but it has been lacking in this area and that's a shame. It may seem like a minor point, but Jameson and the Daily Bugle's thoughts on Spider-Man and his foes in the Sam Raimi trilogy were some of the highlights of those movies and to see his views on the likes of Thor, the Hulk and Iron Man and how he wanted them presented in his newspaper would be great. Jameson has also been the Mayor of New York City in the comics, so to see his reaction to events like Loki and the Chitauri's invasion of the Earth and consequent battle in the city as its highest-ranking officer in its municipal government would be great. So there you have it - ten characters it's a shame Marvel Studios can't currently use (and why). Do you agree?
