2. Martian Manhunter
Martian J'onn J'onzz is an obvious choice to join the DCEU, as demonstrated by the immense success of the Justice League cartoon series, and appearances in the Supergirl TV show. Similar to Dr Manhattan or The Vision or even Doctor Strange, Martian Manhunter would open the door to a lot of possibilities for the DCEU.
A B-list hero in the same way most of the MCU heroes were to general audiences before their movies, a powerful and skilled peacekeeper and authoritarian, Martian Manhunter is a character who becomes invested in earth and is more adept than an unstable Superman, who has always called Earth his home.
Having him appear in Justice League and then alongside Superman in the upcoming Man of Steel sequel gives Superman a non-villain antagonist, and possibly a mentor if he's willing to learn.
Perhaps not the highest priority for a solo movie any time soon, Martian Manhunter would be a key player in team-up movies, and joining heroes in their solo movies, much like The Hulk's role in the MCU. A character torture by his solitude, and later being the last of his kind, a tortured supporting player like J'onn J'onzz would keep the Justice League on their feet, and maybe stand out as a potential team leader in the future.
