10 Characters The DCEU Wishes It Could've Introduced Differently

There's going to be a consistent theme running through this article that, long story short, DC thought they were going to have a carbon copy of the MCU on their hands and started planning with a song in their hearts not a care in their heads. History will recall that this was a mistake.

The post-credits scene for Justice League was actually pretty tantalizing. Lex Luthor revealed to no longer be in the clink and welcoming a mysterious assassin to his boat to "celebrate god's return". The two quip back and forth before Luthor asks him "don't you think we should have... a League of our own?".

It's a good tease, and an intriguing prospect for a sequel, but the inherent problem you have here is that the sequel is now squarely in the bin. Had DC played things a little smarter, they wouldn't have spunked away one of their best villains in a quick post-credits fan popper like this. For the sake of a 90-second crowd pleaser, he's now attached to an entire film universe they're actively trying to move on from.
