9. Jack Sparrow

Pirates of the Caribbean is a mammoth franchise that has seemingly unstoppable momentum, largely thanks to Johnny Depp's performance as the charming Captain Jack Sparrow. Even with the awfulness of the latter two Pirates films, Depp has been singled out almost universally as the best thing in them, and even earned an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor for his work on the first film. Given that the fifth Pirates film, Dead Men Tell No Tales, will be hitting cinemas in the summer of 2016, that probably won't be too far away from the release of the Lego sequel, so the two could tie together rather well. Whether they can rope Depp in for the part or not (considering he cameoed in Lord and Miller's 21 Jump Street, it's likely), all they need to do is pretty much exaggerate his persona from the live action movies. He needs to be drunker, slur his words more, and perhaps try to steal Wyldstyle away from Emmet, with amusing results.
