10 Characters We Want To See In The Lego Movie Sequel
8. Ghostbusters
We're probably never going to get a third Ghostbusters movie given how averse Bill Murray seems to the idea, so why not bring them back via Lego form? Whether you're a kid or an adult, you're probably a fan of the Ghostbusters, thanks to its wacky premise and vibrant personality, defined by its awesome characters. We even saw a ghost character at the end of The Lego Movie, so the idea has already been planted there: Emmet and co. need someone who ain't 'fraid of no ghosts. It being a Lord and Miller movie (hopefully, anyway), it needs to have some wry gags that will fly over the kids' heads for the sake of the adults, and so it could reference the long-stalled third movie, and in particular Bill Murray's reluctance to take part. Perhaps there could be a running joke about how Peter Venkman just can't be bothered, is always late for work and is never dressed in his Ghostbusters uniform. And hey, they may as well offer that part to Murray, even if just for the hell of it.
Stay at home dad who spends as much time teaching his kids the merits of Martin Scorsese as possible (against the missus' wishes).
