Didn't anyone ever tell this guy that curiosity killed the cat? Well, in this horror movie universe curiosity also stabbed kitty repeatedly, flayed its skin off and turned it into a furry light-shade. Here's a couple of tips: if there's a noise somewhere dark - in the garden, or the cellar, or the other room where the light mysteriously doesn't work despite the fact that you changed the bulb yesterday - DO NOT go and investigate. Even if it sounds like yur buddy screaming. Pack whatever you have up and run away as far and as fast as you can possibly get. Oh, and don't ask the first person you run into to help you - chances are they are either the killer, or if they're a figure of authority, you're pretty much guaranteeing that they're going to be the latest notch on the killer's weapon handle, especially if they act all macho or do their duty by taking you back to the house to investigate. Massive mistake.
