If we're being realistic, most of the characters in Guy Ritchie's upcoming crime caper The Gentlemen will probably die.

In a movie involving gangster warfare, a drug empire, bribery, corruption, and a heck of a lot of guns, it's going to be a difficult story for the central group of crooks to fight their way out of, and Ritchie isn't averse to killing off big names, having murdered Alan Ford, Benicio del Toro, and Tom Wilkinson in the past.

But one of the biggest targets is easily Mickey Pearson, a crime boss who will be played by Matthew McConaughey. Pearson is at the top of the food chain within the film's criminal underworld, and his position of power means that there will be a lot of people who want to see him dead.

In the trailer, his Range Rover is shot up by a gang of rival thugs, and in the next shot, the vehicle can be seen on the ground, flipped over. Pearson is shown running away from the wreckage, and needless to say, he doesn't look in very good shape.

The trailer doesn't exactly spoil his death scene, but it's an indication that things won't go too well for the character as the narrative unfolds.
